We are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established and growing company within the aluminium glazing and commercial fenestration sector. They are seeking an experienced and motivated Estimator – Aluminium Systems to join their expanding commercial team.

This is an excellent opportunity for an Estimator with a strong background in aluminium glazing, fenestration, and commercial projects who is looking to join a forward-thinking business working on a variety of exciting projects from initial enquiry through to quotation and project delivery.

The successful candidate will have strong technical knowledge, excellent customer service skills, and a commercial mindset, with the ability to build strong client relationships and support business growth through effective estimating and sales awareness.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare accurate and competitive quotations for commercial aluminium projects.
  • Interpret architectural drawings, specifications, and tender documentation.
  • Use LogiKal software to produce estimates, calculations, and accurate pricing.
  • Liaise with customers, architects, contractors, suppliers, and internal teams throughout the quotation process.
  • Provide excellent customer service and ensure enquiries are handled professionally and efficiently.
  • Follow up quotations and identify opportunities to support project conversion.
  • Work closely with sales and project teams to ensure a smooth handover of secured projects.
  • Maintain accurate records and manage multiple quotations within required deadlines.
About You

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Previous estimating experience within the aluminium glazing, curtain walling, windows, doors, or façade industry.
  • Strong working knowledge and experience using LogiKal software.
  • Proven experience pricing commercial aluminium projects.
  • Excellent ability to read and understand technical drawings and specifications.
  • Strong communication and customer relationship skills.
  • A commercial approach with sales awareness and the ability to identify opportunities.
  • Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail.
  • The ability to work independently while contributing positively within a team environment.
Desirable Experience
  • Experience working with aluminium systems including Schüco, Senior, Kawneer, Reynaers, or SAPA.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Previous experience working within a busy estimating or commercial department.
