Chase Taylor Recruitment is recruiting on behalf of a leading aluminium manufacturer in Bristol for an experienced Aluminium Order Processor / Estimator. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established business specialising in the manufacture of high-quality aluminium glazing solutions for both residential and commercial projects.
The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate quotations and cost estimates while working closely with sales, design, and production teams to support project delivery.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare accurate quotations and cost estimates for aluminium window, door, and glazing systems.
- Interpret architectural drawings, specifications, and tender documents.
- Price residential and commercial projects to tight deadlines.
- Liaise with suppliers, customers, and internal departments to ensure accurate pricing.
- Work closely with sales, design, and production teams to ensure projects are commercially viable.
- Maintain pricing databases and ensure estimates reflect current material and labour costs.
- Assist with value engineering and alternative product recommendations where appropriate.
- Previous experience as an Aluminium Order Processor / Estimator.
- Strong knowledge of the V6 aluminium Software.
- Proficient in Smarts estimating System.
- Experience estimating aluminium systems for both residential and commercial projects.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Excellent numerical, organisational, and communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple quotations simultaneously.
- Experience working within an aluminium window and door manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of UK Building Regulations and glazing standards.
- Familiarity with aluminium fabrication processes and systems.
- Salary of £30,000 – £35,000 per annum, depending on experience.
- 28 days holiday including bank holidays.
