They continually aim to work in partnership with Healthcare Professionals by providing solution led products to meet the clinical needs of patient centred care. Their solutions support their partners to run an efficient and cost effective patient focused service.

Due to the companies’ solution led and patient focused service, they are currently recruiting for a Healthcare Partnership Development Manager to work within their Wound Care division covering the above territory.

Within this role you will be responsible for the commercial success of existing and new brand development by identifying and engaging with decision making networks and gaining local approval for promotion within your given area, working with stakeholders at all levels across multiple health economies to create new business opportunities and ensure formulary compliance is achieved.

You will have responsibility for creating and implementing the local commercial business plans supported by the Lead Healthcare Partnership Manager.

As a requirement of this role, you will be expected to develop and implement a commercially biased market access plan, identifying strategically who will be the focus in terms of customers and specific points of contact e.g., regional NHS stakeholders, Procurement and key decision makers. You will facilitate discussions and negotiations between provider units and Integrated Care Boards / Health Boards to develop a one ICB / Health Board approach for wound care. This role has a strategic focus to it, so you will be required to grow service provision / value-added programmes across all appropriate sectors as well as manage any existing relationships that have been established.

You will be liaising with internal and external stakeholders to understand their clinical needs, then adapting the companies service and product base to suit. A thorough understanding of the changes within the NHS, as well as the challenges and the opportunities within the therapy area, will be essential to the success of this position.

  • In-depth knowledge of the current structure, policies and workings of the NHS and other healthcare organisations within the UK

  • Evidenced experience of engaging with multiple NHS stakeholders, particularly at commissioning and service level (meds managers, pharmacists, procurement)

  • Analysis and interpretation of quantitative and qualitative data sources to identify opportunities

  • Negotiation, networking and communication skills associated with producing successful outcomes

  • Successful in the healthcare arena with knowledge of the NHS system and processes

  • Record of success in medical devices sales, preferably in the field of wound care

  • Evidence of building strong and productive stakeholder relationships

  • Experience of working cross-functionally
