Job Description The Firm /n Our client is a Top 100 UK commercial Law firm looking for a 2-4 PQE Associate to join its growing Corporate Team in London. All of their fee earners are given early direct client contact and are expected to play a role in developing and strengthening client relationships. /n The Opportunity /n The Corporate Team specialises in: /n /n - M&A /n - Equity fundraisings (including Venture Capital and Private Equity) /n - Partnerships, joint ventures and shareholders’ agreements /n - Company reorganisations and restructuring /n - Corporate formation and governance /n /n Clients range from entrepreneurial start-ups and high growth companies through to SMEs, large private companies and listed entities. The team also includes lawyers specialising in Capital Markets, Banking and Commercial work. /n The Ideal Candidate /n /n - Solicitor admitted in England and Wales with 2-4 years' PQE relevant private practice experience in corporate law. /n - Strong academics at university and in the SQE. /n - Commercially savvy with business development acuman. /n - experience in one of the firm’s key sectors including Technology or Health & Social Care; and experience in cross-border transactions involving inbound UK investment or acquisitions is desirable but not a pre-requisite. /n /n Our client offers flexible hybrid working of three days in the office and two days working from home (subject to business requirements). /n This is a fantastic opportunity with genuine career progression. /n Contact Toby Nash at Chase Portland for further information.
