We’re working with a large, forward-thinking training practice in Scunthorpe that is looking to recruit an experienced and motivated Senior Practice Nurse to join their supportive clinical team. This is an exciting opportunity to take the lead in diabetes management within a busy dual-sited practice caring for a combined patient list of 20,000 patients. The practice has a well-established multidisciplinary team of over 50 staff, including 7 GPs, nurses, nurse associates, healthcare assistants, and an experienced administrative team. They pride themselves on providing high-quality patient care within a collaborative and progressive environment.
This role would suit a nurse with a strong background in diabetes management who is looking to further develop their leadership and clinical expertise within primary care.
The practice offers:
- Salary up to £28.90 per hour
- 6 weeks annual leave plus bank holidays (pro-rata if applicable)

The right candidate will have:
- A recognised Diploma in Diabetes Management (essential)
- Insulin Management training (essential)
- Strong experience managing patients with diabetes and long-term conditions
- Confidence working autonomously and proactively
- Experience within a primary care setting preferred, though not essential
General practice nursing experience is welcomed but not required for candidates with substantial diabetes management expertise.
