Residential Home Manager (Ofsted) required for a Children's Home in Stockport
Location: Stockport
Salary: £55,000 per annum + Performance Bonus: up to £15,000
Schedule: Monday to Friday 9am – 5pm
Are you a compassionate leader with a deep commitment to making a difference in children's lives? We're seeking an experienced Children's Residential Home Manager to take the helm of our Stockport team and provide exceptional therapeutic care to young people with complex needs.

Your Role: Lead, Inspire, and Transform
While there is many responsibilities to this role, your aim is to lead and manage the Home, overseeing the day to day operations, providing strong motivational leadership to staff and ensuring the best possible care and education for the young people.
Their Home Managers are responsible and compassionate leaders, decision makers and ensure continuous multi agency work between Care, Education and Health to support and develop all plans for the young people in their care.
Previous management experience in a residential care home setting is essential, with the drive and motivation to provide a safe environment for the young people at all times.
This role requires patience, motivation, understanding, leadership, determination and ownership. You will be supported by the Senior Management team so they can continue to develop your skills in this role.
What We're Looking For
- Qualifications: Ideally, you have a strong therapeutic background, with a level 3/4 in Children's Residential and hold a Level 5 qualification in Leadership and Management.
- Experience: A minimum of 3 years in a children's home setting, within the last 5 years
- Skills: Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and inspire your team, coupled with a deep commitment to providing exceptional care.
Please note that right to work in the UK and a full, valid UK driving licence is essential for the role
