Operations Manager – GP Surgery
Full-Time | £30,000 per annum

Are you an experienced administrator or deputy manager looking to take the next step in healthcare operations? We are seeking a proactive and highly organised Operations Manager to support the smooth, efficient, and profitable running of our friendly and forward-thinking GP practice in Oldbury.
About the Role:
You'll work closely with the Practice Manager and GP Partners to maintain high standards, ensuring excellent patient care and staff satisfaction. This role is ideal for someone with strong leadership and administrative skills, who thrives in a dynamic environment and enjoys working collaboratively with clinical and non-clinical teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Practice Manager in day-to-day operations
- Oversee and support admin and clinical teams, including HR, recruitment, rotas, and training
- Monitor and ensure performance targets are met and workflows remain up to date
- Manage claims, patient communications, incoming emails, and complaints
- Organise and contribute to staff and partner meetings
- Maintain and update the practice website and ensure communication channels are clear and consistent
- Ensure compliance with Health & Safety regulations and CQC standards
- Assist with financial administration and practice policies
- Liaise with patients, staff, and external healthcare professionals
What We're Looking For:
- Previous experience in a similar operations or deputy practice manager role
- Excellent organisational, administrative, and communication skills
- Strong IT proficiency and a proactive, problem-solving approach
