A well-established, forward-thinking GP Training Practice in the Mexborough area is looking to welcome an experienced Advanced Clinical Practitioner (ACP) to their team on a part-time basis from the new tax year. The practice is open to ACPs from a variety of clinical backgrounds, including ANP, APP, or ECP. Serving a patient population of approximately 9,500, this is a supportive, collaborative practice with a strong clinical team and a positive learning culture as a Training Practice. They are seeking a confident, autonomous clinician who enjoys managing their own caseload while contributing positively to a stable, close-knit multidisciplinary team.
The Role
- Part‑time position – approximately 25 hours per week (negotiable)
- Permanent opportunity
- Salary up to Band 8a – up to £52,000 DOE (pro rata, negotiable)
- Start date aligned with the new tax year
- Based in the Mexborough area
Clinical Scope
- Minor illness assessment and management
- Chronic disease management
- Independent prescribing
- Treating patients aged 1 year and above
- Autonomous clinics within General Practice
- Referrals, investigations, and ongoing patient management
Minimum 3 years’ experience working as a Practitioner within General Practice. Confident in managing minor illness and chronic disease. Competent in treating all age groups over 1 year old. Recognised ACP qualification / ACP badge or ability to qualify via ASSR. Proficient in SystmOne.
