Are you an experienced Senior Residential Children’s Support Worker looking for a role where you can genuinely make an impact? The service currently supports two young people aged 16 and 17 with complex learning disabilities, allowing staff to provide truly person‑centred care and build meaningful relationships. The Role
- Building positive and trusting relationships with young people
- Supporting children with their daily routines, emotional wellbeing, education, and independence skills
- Promoting positive outcomes and helping young people reach their full potential
- Providing consistent care and support tailored to individual needs
- Maintaining accurate records and documentation
- Working collaboratively with families, social workers, education providers, and healthcare professionals

About You
- Previous experience working within a residential childcare setting
- A genuine passion for supporting vulnerable children and young people
- Experience supporting young people with Learning Disabilities, EBD, SEMH, or complex needs
- NVQ Level 3 or Level 4 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or at least 50% completed)
- Strong communication and relationship‑building skills
- A resilient, compassionate, and professional approach
- A full UK driving licence
Salary & Benefits
- £15.05 per hour (£31,300 per annum) and £16.35 per hour (£34,000 per annum)
- £65 per sleep‑in shift
- Full‑time contract – 40 hours per week
Shift Patterns
- Day shifts: 7:00 am – 10:00 pm
- Waking nights: 9:00 pm – 7:00 am
