Clinical Manager β Urgent Treatment Centre
Hours: Full-time
Contract: Permanent
We are currently recruiting for an enthusiastic and experienced Clinical Manager to join an established urgent care service in Beckenham, South London.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Nurse or Paramedic with a background in urgent care or emergency medicine to take on a clinical leadership position, supporting the day-to-day running of an Urgent Treatment Centre (UTC).

- Working clinically within the UTC, assessing and treating patients with minor illnesses and injuries.
- Supporting the development of new clinical pathways and service improvements.
- Working closely with the wider UTC leadership team on agreed projects and management responsibilities.
- Supporting the delivery of safe, effective and consistent patient care.
- Providing clinical guidance and support while encouraging the development of colleagues.
- Managing your own workload and supporting the smooth running of the department.
- Working collaboratively with the wider multidisciplinary team.
What We're Looking For
We are looking for an experienced registered Nurse or Paramedic with a strong background in urgent care or emergency medicine.
To be considered, you will need:
- Current NMC or HCPC registration with no restrictions to practise.
- A minimum of six years' post-registration experience, ideally in a senior position.
- At least two years' experience working as an autonomous practitioner within an Urgent Treatment Centre or Emergency Department.
- A Level 7 Postgraduate Certificate in Advanced Clinical Practice, with progression towards a Postgraduate Diploma or MSc.
- An Independent Prescribing qualification, with at least two years' post-qualification experience.

- Excellent communication, organisational and interpersonal skills.
- A clear understanding of professional accountability and responsibility.
- The ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.
- A leadership or management qualification.
- Advanced Life Support (ALS) qualification.
- Previous primary care experience.
