Are you an experienced leader in children's residential care looking to make a difference? We're recruiting a Registered Manager to reopen and lead a children's residential home in Andover, SP10, supporting young people aged 9-18 with complex emotional and behavioural needs.

About the Role
As Registered Manager, you'll oversee the day-to-day running of the home, ensuring high standards of care, safeguarding and Ofsted compliance.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading the daily operations of the home.
- Ensuring regulatory compliance and quality care.
- Acting as the Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL).
- Leading, supporting and developing the care team.
- Working with therapists, families and external professionals.
- Overseeing staffing, care planning, budgets and quality assurance.
- Supporting young people with ASD, ADHD, PTSD and trauma-related behaviours.
About You
To be considered for this Registered Manager role, you'll need:
Essential requirements
- Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare or equivalent.
- At least two years' residential childcare experience.
- At least one year's supervisory or management experience.
- Strong safeguarding and child protection knowledge.
- Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle.
Desirable
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare, or working towards it.
- Previous Designated Safeguarding Lead experience.
- Experience attending reviews and writing reports.
