Are you a passionate leader in children's residential care looking to make a real difference? We're seeking an experienced Registered Manager to lead a nurturing children's home supporting young people with complex emotional and behavioural needs.

About the Company

The company provides specialist residential support for young people aged 9 - 18 with needs including ASD, ADHD, PTSD, and trauma-related behaviours. Their homes offer a safe, therapeutic, and homely environment where young people can thrive emotionally and socially.

Your Role

  • Lead the day-to-day running of the children's home
  • Ensure OFSTED compliance and high standards of care
  • Act as the Designated Safeguarding Lead
  • Support and develop a dedicated care team
  • Work closely with therapists, families, and external professionals
  • Oversee staffing, care planning, and budgets

What We're Looking For

Essential:
  • Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent)
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in residential childcare
  • At least 1 year in a supervisory / management role
  • Strong safeguarding knowledge
  • Full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle
Desirable:
  • Level 5 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or working towards)
  • Previous Designated Safeguarding Lead experience
  • Experience attending reviews and writing reports
