An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Practice Nurse to join a friendly and supportive GP surgery near Andover. The practice is looking to recruit a confident and well-rounded Practice Nurse with a particular interest in respiratory care to become part of their established clinical team.
This is a permanent position offering between 30 and 37.5 hours per week, with flexibility around the working pattern. The surgery is open Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 6:30pm, and can accommodate a variety of shift patterns, including longer days, morning-only sessions or a combination of hours across the week, to be discussed at interview.
The successful candidate will be experienced in all aspects of general practice nursing and confident in delivering treatment room services, including:
- Respiratory reviews and long-term condition management
- Chronic disease management
- Vaccinations and immunisations
- Cytology
- Travel vaccinations
- Women's health
- General treatment room duties
- Assessment, planning and delivery of patient care
You'll be joining a welcoming and collaborative team of GPs, Practice Nurses and Healthcare Assistants, all working together to provide high-quality, patient-centred care. The practice supports around 13,000 patients from a modern, purpose-built surgery with excellent facilities, on-site parking and EMIS Web. The team prides itself on its supportive culture, with regular clinical support and opportunities for ongoing professional development.
