As a Business Analyst, you will play a key role in supporting positive business change across Chase de Vere. Working closely with business stakeholders, project teams and technology specialists, you will help identify opportunities for improvement, define business requirements, and support the delivery of solutions that enhance processes, systems and ways of working. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys solving problems, influencing change and acting as the bridge between business needs and technology solutions.

What your role will involve

  • Working with stakeholders to understand business challenges, opportunities and objectives, and identifying the underlying business need behind proposed change.
  • Gathering, analysing and documenting business requirements using a variety of techniques including workshops, interviews, process reviews and data analysis.
  • Producing clear, structured and accurate requirements documentation to support project delivery and business decision-making.
  • Mapping current and future state business processes, identifying inefficiencies, risks and opportunities for improvement.
  • Supporting the development of practical solutions that improve customer, adviser and colleague outcomes.
  • Ensuring requirements are reviewed, validated and approved by the appropriate stakeholders and remain traceable throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Supporting business cases and change requests, helping stakeholders understand options, impacts, risks and benefits.
  • Managing and documenting key aspects of the change process, including timelines, actions, decisions, communications and stakeholder engagement activities.
  • Identifying, documenting and helping mitigate project risks, issues, assumptions and dependencies through effective impact assessments and RAID management.
  • Building strong working relationships across the business and acting as a trusted point of contact for business change initiatives.
  • Facilitating workshops, meetings and discussions to support decision-making and ensure business requirements are clearly understood.
  • Supporting successful project delivery and ensuring a smooth transition of solutions into business-as-usual operations.
  • Working closely with the Business Analysis Manager, FinTech Team and wider stakeholders to support strategic and operational change initiatives.

What you will need

  • Previous experience in a Business Analyst role, ideally within a regulated environment.
  • Strong understanding of business analysis techniques including requirements elicitation, process mapping, impact assessment and stakeholder analysis.
  • Experience of working with business stakeholders to identify needs, define requirements and support successful change delivery.
  • Knowledge of project and change management methodologies, including Agile and/or Waterfall approaches.
  • Ability to produce high-quality business documentation including requirements specifications, process maps, impact assessments and handover materials.
  • Strong process mapping and analytical skills with the ability to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong facilitation skills and confidence leading workshops and stakeholder discussions.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Experience of working within financial services would be advantageous.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Visio, Miro, SharePoint or similar business analysis and collaboration tools would be beneficial.
  • Awareness of AI-enabled tools such as Microsoft Copilot and their application within business analysis and process improvement.
  • BCS Business Analysis Diploma, or willingness to work towards professional qualifications, would be desirable.
