The role is ideal for someone who is reliable, flexible, a team player and loves working with the public. Ideally having worked in General Practice previously. The role is only part-time to include evenings from 2pm. It is also very important that colleague’s annual leave is covered so there may be hours outide normal wokring hours.
Main duties of the job
Main duties are answering the phones, booking in patients, administering repeat prescriptions and dealing with all types of queries etc
Patient care is paramount and the candidate would need to be caring along with efficient. We use Emis Web but the candidate would also need to be confident with Windows.

We are a busy surgery with nearly 8000 patients. We have 2 partners and 5 locum GP’s. We have 9 reception/admin staff. Located in Collier Row, North Romford amongst the shops and cafes
Job responsibilities
Receive, assist and direct patients in accessing the appropriate service or healthcare professional in a courteous, efficient and effective way.
Provide general assistance to the Practice team and project a positive and friendly image to patients and other visitors, either in person or via the telephone.
