We’re looking for an aspiring Middleweight Designer to support our growing client portfolio, in a busy, growing design agency in EC1.

Salary: £32,000 - £38,000 DOE

What you’ll offer:

  • The ability to understand briefs, propose and articulate conceptual solutions, take constructive feedback, and develop and refine work for final delivery across print and digital media.
  • A broad portfolio of work, demonstrating both a conceptual and commercial understanding of design practice.
  • Excellent skills in the core Adobe Creative Suite applications.
  • Experience in any other creative platforms across varying disciplines is a bonus.

What we’ll ask of you:

  • To understand briefs, and propose visual and conceptual solutions.
  • To create initial design solutions of varying styles and complexities.
  • To articulate your creative approach, self-evaluate, and respond positively to creative direction.
  • To constructively interpret feedback and incorporate it into final executions.
  • To produce final design solutions (finished logo files, print-ready artwork, digital assets).
  • To pitch creative ideas, both internally and externally when necessary.

What you’ll need to have:

  • A strong, diverse portfolio.
  • Ideally, 3-4 years of agency experience (or similar).
  • Excellent Adobe Creative Suite skills, in a minimum of InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
  • After Effects and Premiere Pro being desirable, with any additional software experience (Figma, Blendr, etc.) being an added bonus.
  • A basic working knowledge of HTML5 would be of significant benefit.
  • Solid experience at all stages of the creative process.
  • A willingness to learn, take direction, and expand your knowledge.
  • A strong understanding of all core design principles.
  • The ability to work in, and have meaningful input to a close, collaborative team.
  • Exceptional and consistent eye for detail.
  • A genuine creative talent and a desire to express this through visual problem-solving.
  • A BA-level or equivalent qualification in a design-related field is desirable, but absolutely not essential.
