The Content & Social Media Manager is responsible for managing and producing strategic content and social media plans to deliver our key brand awareness and customer consideration goals. Working closely with the Senior PR and Content Manager and Marketing team, this role is responsible for the creation, management, and distribution of content across various platforms, including social media, website and YouTube to enhance brand visibility and engagement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Alongside the Senior PR and Content Manager, create and implement an effective content strategy that drives brand awareness, engagement, and lead generation.
  • Lead the development of a comprehensive content calendar across our website to include insights blogs, educational pieces and service-related content.
  • Deliver a multi-channel content distribution plan including repurposing content across platforms and updating where required.
  • Create high-quality written content, ensuring content is engaging for target customers and optimised for SEO.
  • Work closely with the designers and marketing team to manage end-to-end process, including visuals and content distribution.
  • Monitor and analyse content performance metrics to make data-driven optimisations and future recommendations.
  • Ensure all content adheres to brand guidelines and tone of voice.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and emerging content formats.

Organic Social Media

  • Create and implement social media strategies that align with business goals, including increasing brand awareness and customer engagement across LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook and YouTube.
  • Plan a social media content calendar to ensure consistent posting and engagement.
  • Create and curate engaging content, including text posts, images and videos, managing external contractors where required.
  • Deliver any video requirements and distribute across YouTube.
  • Stay updated on social media trends, tools, and best practices.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years’ experience in a content and social media role, with some property experience desirable but not essential.
  • Excellent knowledge of social media and what content engages audiences.
  • Demonstrated ability to create high-quality, engaging content with good knowledge of SEO and social media best practices.
  • Experienced user of analytics tools to monitor content performance.
  • Experience working across video content including briefing the videographer for filming and edits.
  • Experience working with social scheduling tools.

  • Self‑motivated, proactive, and able to work independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Ability to produce innovative content that resonates with our audience personas.
  • Comfortable using simple design tools to adapt templates and create basic, on‑brand visual assets.
