About Us

Our vision at Chase Bridge is for all children to excel at learning, express their talents and care for others. In March 2025, Ofsted judged our school to be Outstanding in every category. You can read our latest Ofsted report here.

We are a thriving, three-form-entry Community Primary and Nursery School in the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames, situated next to Allianz Stadium in Twickenham. We offer on-site parking and a well-established, supportive school environment.

We provide a learning environment where children feel secure, are confident and at the same time, challenged to explore and understand the world around them. Our aim is for the children to achieve their full potential; be safe and happy; develop a love of learning; and the skills of independence to make informed choices.

We place huge importance on the emotional wellbeing of our staff, children and wider community. As an outward-facing school, we are proud to partner and support other schools in developing their own wellbeing and mental health strategies. Having achieved our Attachment Aware Gold Schools Award, we take great pride in our three-year experience as an MHST Cluster Lead school, working in partnership with primary, secondary and special schools across Richmond. During this time, we have led a cluster of 20 schools, reaching over 7,000 children and young people and supporting the mental health and wellbeing of pupils and staff.

The role

We are seeking an enthusiastic, dedicated and experienced Nursery Teacher who is passionate about giving children the very best start to their educational journey.

At Chase Bridge, we believe the early years are fundamental in shaping children’s confidence, curiosity and lifelong love of learning. We are looking for an accomplished Early Years practitioner with a clear vision for excellent practice, who can create a nurturing, stimulating and ambitious learning environment where every child feels valued, develops independence and is encouraged to flourish.

The successful candidate will be committed to securing the very best outcomes for our youngest learners, raising standards and working in partnership with families and colleagues. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, alongside a genuine passion for early childhood development, are essential.

We asked our children what they would like in a teacher, and they told us they want someone who:

  • understands them as individuals and listens to everyone;
  • makes learning enjoyable;
  • boosts their confidence;
  • encourages them and is approachable; and
  • explains things clearly and helps them to succeed.

If you are an experienced Nursery Teacher who shares our vision and would love to make a lasting difference at the very start of children’s school lives, we would be delighted to hear from you.

In return, we offer:

  • an established and supportive leadership team;
  • a school that has a firm commitment to professional development and career progression;
  • a school community that is research focused and where the learning of adults is as important as the learning of children;
  • a rewarding and special place to work where staff are passionate about providing a broad curriculum for all children;
  • a parent community who are engaged and supportive of the school and their child’s education;
  • a well-resourced school set in extensive grounds as well as on site car parking available for the convenience of our staff; and
  • access to the Westfield Health Cover and Teacher Pension Scheme.

Closing / short-listing date: noon on 27th November. Interviews are expected to be held on 2nd December with a view to the successful candidate starting in April 2027 or sooner.

Chase Bridge Primary School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. The successful applicant will be required to undertake an enhanced DBS check and other safer recruitment checks in line with Keeping Children Safe in Education guidance.

Visits from interested candidates are highly encouraged and warmly welcomed. Please contact our School Business Manager, Mei-Ling Kan, to arrange a tour of our wonderful school.
