UK Sales Manager – South Yorkshire – £70,000 – £80,000 + Benefits Chase & Holland are excited to be exclusively partnering a well-known manufacturing business based in South Yorkshire in the search for a Uk Sales Manager. This is a newly created role which will need a dynamic and experienced hands-on Sales Manager. It would be desirable if your experience is in manufacturing and or distributor/channel management. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully developing and executing commercial strategies, managing distributor relationships to drive sales growth within the manufacturing industry. This is a pivotal role to join the senior leadership team and build on the outstanding relationships with long standing clients to promote and expand the company’s commercial activity that will generate revenues and lead to sustainable growth. Lead and execute commercial strategies, optimise distributor performance, and maximize sales opportunities. Build and maintain strong relationships with key distributors, dealers, and partners to drive business development, foster collaboration, and ensure customer satisfaction. Identify and evaluate potential distribution partners, negotiate agreements, and establish performance metrics to drive results and achieve sales targets. Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify opportunities for innovation, product development, and market expansion. Collaborate cross-functionally with product development, operations, finance, and other departments to drive product launches, pricing strategies, and promotional activities. Analyse sales data, market insights, and customer feedback to develop actionable insights, optimise sales processes of the channel partners, and enhance customer engagement. Lead the development and implementation of marketing campaigns, branding initiatives, and promotional activities to drive brand awareness, customer acquisition, and loyalty. Stay abreast of industry developments, regulatory requirements, and best practices in manufacturing distribution to ensure compliance and maintain a competitive edge. Differentiation through Innovation: Continue to invest in product innovation to maintain a competitive edge. Ensure that your products offer unique features and benefits that competitors can\’t easily replicate. Requirements and skills Strong experience in commercial leadership roles within the manufacturing industry, with a focus on key account management, distributor management, sales, and business development as a must. Bachelor\’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field; MBA or equivalent preferred track record of driving revenue growth, achieving sales targets, and building successful partnerships with distributors, dealers, and customers. Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams, influence stakeholders, and drive results. Strategic thinker with analytical problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and a results-oriented mindset. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, prioritise competing demands, and adapt to changing circumstances. Understands how the internal and external organisation interacts with the environment.
