The Opportunity

Reporting directly to the MD you’ll take full ownership of the day-to-day finance function and play a key role in driving performance and profitability across the site. This is a business that values challenge, commercial insight, and continuous improvement; you’ll have real influence in shaping future strategy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop a small finance team, ensuring accuracy, efficiency and engagement.
  • Produce and present monthly management accounts, variance analysis, and KPI reporting.
  • Partner with operational teams to improve margins, cost control and productivity.
  • Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
  • Maintain robust financial controls and ensure compliance with statutory and audit requirements.
  • Support investment appraisals, capital projects, and strategic decision-making.

About You

  • Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with solid post-qualified experience.
  • Proven background within manufacturing or a similar complex, product-driven environment.
