Chase & Holland are exclusively recruiting a Management Accountant for a successful and growing manufacturing business. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Management Accountant to join a well‑established organisation in a broad and commercially focused role. Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will take ownership of the monthly management accounts process, budgeting and forecasting activities, and financial controls. You will provide support and collaborate with colleagues across the finance function to ensure efficient delivery of departmental objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly management accounts, financial reports and balance sheet reconciliations
- Lead the month‑end close process, including accruals, prepayments and journal postings
- Support budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management and financial planning activities
- Analyse business performance and provide meaningful financial insight to support decision‑making
- Oversee payroll processing and ensure compliance with financial and statutory requirements
- Support year‑end audit activities, VAT returns and financial controls
- Provide day‑to‑day leadership, coaching and workload management for a small finance team
- Drive continuous improvement across finance processes, systems and reporting
About You
- Qualified or later‑stage student CIMA/ ACCA or strong QBE
- Previous Management Accountant experience within a fast‑paced environment
- Strong management accounts, budgeting and forecasting experience
- IT literate including ERP systems and Excel
- Previous experience leading or supervising a small team
- Real team player with a continuous improvement mentality
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders across the business
