Interim Senior Management Accountant – Alfreton – £55,000 – £60,000
We are currently working on behalf of a successful, well respected manufacturing business based in Alfreton who are looking for a dynamic, highly experience Senior Management Accountant to join their strong and passionate finance team for a 3 month interim contract to commence asap.
This role forms part of the Finance Team responsible for ensuring that there is sufficient operational and commercial financial information to support the business in key decision making.
Reporting into the Group Financial Controller your responsibilities will include the following:
- Manage the development and production of the individual subsidiary management accounts to contribute to the Group management accounts
- Delivering ad-hoc commercial finance projects across the Group to support key strategic objectives
- Conduct the monthly gross margin review and reconciliation with the assistance of the management accounts team
- Processing ledger transactions and reconciliations
- Conduct monthly group stock valuations and provisions
- Calculate and process group GM provisions
- Maintenance and uploading of all stock costing information onto the system for all Group Companies
- Ensuring accounting information is clear and concise through accurate posting of journals
- Carrying out ad-hoc tasks as required
My client is keen to find someone who is:
- ACA/ACCA/CIMA Qualified or Strong QBE
- Experienced within a manufacturing/ FMCG background
- Stock reporting experience including stock valuations and provisions
- Confident and has exposure to management accounts preparation and costings
- Able to work in a fast paced, ever changing, varied role
