Interim Commercial Finance Business Partner – Hull – c£50,000 We are working with one of our fast growing, successful owner managed manufacturing clients in Hull who have a great opportunity for a candidate with ambition as an Interim Commercial Finance Business Partner for an initial 6 month contract. You will be working for a reputable business who offers excellent career opportunities and a chance to make your commercial accounting expertise count and make a real impact. Reporting to the Head of Finance, the role will see you challenge, support and provide insight to the Senior Management team. You will be responsible for providing finance support to the Commercial Controllers to develop business plans, set budgets, and prepare regular forecasts through the fiscal year, ensuring alignment with strategy and the operating model the business. Drive better efficiency and effectiveness across all reporting and planning activity including development of tools and better use of key data sources (Customer data, data warehouse, product data. The role will see you provide a lot of sensitivity analysis, what if scenarios, pricing and promotional activity support, rebate reconciliations, sales, margin and profitability reporting, including by customer and product type. You will also have a passion for continuous improvement and driving the efficiency in reporting. You will need to be a fully qualified accountant (CIMA or ACCA) or strong QBE, with good experience within a manufacturing environment, ideally FMCG. You will need to be a confident communicator, a negotiator and be able to influence decision-making. This role will suit a driven individual who wants to make a real difference.
