Interim Assistant Accountant - Hull - Competitive Salary
Chase & Holland are working exclusively with a well-established manufacturing business in Hull, who are currently looking to recruit an Assistant Accountant to support the finance team during a period of transition for a minimum of 4 months, until at least the end of January 2027. Reporting directly to the Finance Manager this role will play an integral part in supporting the business with day-to-day transactional finance up to trial balance.

Assistant Accountant key responsibilities:
- Raising and processing daily sales invoices, ensuring correct pricing
- Processing of credit notes and debit notes
- Purchase Ledger
- Checking, reconciling and processing supplier payments
- Credit Control
- Bank reconciliation
- Monthly reporting of Sales Ledger & Purchase Ledger
- Assisting with payroll
- Managing employee expense claims
- Prepare accounts up to trial balance
- Prepare and post journals including prepayments and accruals
- Audit support
Requirements:
- Experience working in a similar varied accounts role, including preparing accounts to TB
- Excellent communication skill both written and verbal
- Highly computer literate including Excel
- Team player and ability to work in a close-knit team
- Strong organisational skills
