Chase & Holland are excited to be partnering with a thriving, PE-backed logistics and distribution business in Grimsby, currently experiencing an ambitious period of growth. We are seeking a driven Payroll Systems Administrator to join their friendly and dedicated Payroll team in this newly created role. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to develop their career within a fast-paced environment.
You will play an important part in ensuring payroll operations run smoothly and accurately, working closely with your team and wider colleagues across the business to resolve queries and keep processes moving efficiently. You will take a proactive approach in ensuring the payroll systems are fully utilised and take the opportunity to identify areas of improvement to support effective and streamlined payroll processes.

- Setting up new employees, rolling out shifts and supporting new users on the T&A system
- Responding to and resolving payroll queries raised through the T&A platform
- Ensuring timely and accurate transfer of T&A information into the Payroll system
- Collaborating with HR to update employee pay details across relevant systems
- Providing general administrative support to the Payroll team for weekly and monthly payroll runs
- Understanding current payroll systems processes and exploring areas for improvement
- Previous payroll administration experience
- Strong IT skills with the ability to pick up new systems quickly (experience with iTrent is a plus)
- Exceptional attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
- Strong analytical and problem-solving ability
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines
