Your role:

As Financial Controller, you'll take full ownership of the finance function — a fantastic opportunity to apply your technical expertise in a commercial, hands-on environment. You'll be responsible for:

  • Month-end close, management accounts, and group consolidation
  • Preparing management information and insightful board packs
  • Budgeting, forecasting, and adding commercial commentary
  • Ensuring compliance across VAT, tax, R&D, and audit standards
  • Managing the audit process and liaising with external advisors
  • Improving systems, processes, and ERP efficiency
  • Creating KPI dashboards and delivering actionable financial insight
  • Mentoring and supporting a small finance team

About you:

This role suits a qualified (or finalist) ACA/ACCA accountant from practice who's ready to take their first step into industry. You'll be confident with financial reporting, audit principles, and controls — and eager to broaden your experience in a fast-paced business setting.
