Chase & Holland are proud to be supporting a successful, forward-thinking manufacturing business who are seeking an experienced and motivated Credit Control Team Leader to support the Head of Billing and Credit Control in leading a medium-sized Credit Control team.

Credit Control Team Leader Responsibilities:
- Assist in the day-to-day leadership and coordination of the Credit Control team
- Drive team performance to achieve collection targets and departmental objectives
- Support, coach and develop team members through regular feedback
- Reduce aged debt and financial exposure through effective account management and recovery
- Review customer accounts and assess cases where legal escalation may be appropriate
- Work alongside internal and external parties to support legal recovery processes when required
- Maintain accurate records and ensure all activity is updated correctly within credit control systems
- Build strong working relationships with departments across the business to support efficient issue resolution
- Produce regular updates and reports on collections performance and outstanding debt
- Manage complex or escalated customer queries relating to credit matters
- Work collaboratively with other teams to improve customer outcomes and speed up resolutions
- Contribute to process improvements and operational changes across the Order-to-Cash function
- Assist in preparing management information and reporting packs
- Provide guidance, training and ongoing support to junior team members
Required Skills & Experience:
- Previous experience in a Credit Control Team Leader or Senior Credit Control position
- Strong knowledge of collections, debt management and credit control procedures
- Experience managing and motivating a team within a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- The ability to manage escalated issues professionally and effectively
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- A continuous improvement mindset with the ability to support process change initiatives
