An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a well-established business in their sector, who are looking to recruit a dynamic, self-motivated Sales Ledger Clerk to join their friendly finance team. The successful candidate will be an excellent communicator with the ability to build and maintain relationships.

Sales Ledger Responsibilities:
- Allocation of all payments
- Coding remittances and checking to the ledger for unpaid invoices
- Dealing with customers when chasing for a remittance/payment allocation
- End of day routine for all payments taken
- Process remittances received for future payments
- Assist with setting up new customer accounts
- Dealing with customer payment queries
- Chasing overdue balances by phone, email and letter
- Assist with other areas of the sales ledger and credit control function as required
Required Skills & Experience:
- Strong experience in a similar Sales Ledger/Accounts role
- A good team player with ability to build and maintain both colleague and client relationships
- IT literate including in Excel
- Excellent communication skills
