Assistant Management Accountant - Grimsby - c£33,000
Chase & Holland are working exclusively with a well-established group of companies in Grimsby, who are currently looking to recruit an Assistant Management Accountant to support the Finance Team. Assistant Management Accountant key responsibilities:
- Assist the FC with the day to day running of the accounts functions
- Produce accurate management reports and analysis
- Dealing with accounts queries and making sure that all issues are resolved
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Processing prepayments and accruals
- Managing a fixed asset register
- Produce quarterly VAT returns
- Assist the production of forecast information weekly
- Maintain accurate general ledger account reconciliations
- Provide support and cover for purchase and sales ledger functions
- Setup and approve bank payments as required
- Ensure statutory requirements are met including submission of ONS reports
- Assist with annual budgeting process
Requirements:
- Experience working in a similar varied accounts role including supporting with management accounts preparation
- Excellent communication skill both written and verbal
- Highly computer literate including Excel
- Team player and ability to work in a close-knit team
