We’re delighted to be partnering with a thriving Doncaster-based company who are expanding their finance team. Reporting directly to the Accounts Supervisor, you’ll play a key role in a busy, collaborative accounts department, processing invoices across a group of companies and gaining valuable exposure to wider finance functions. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys a fast-paced environment, takes pride in accuracy, and wants to develop their career within a supportive and forward-thinking team.

Purchase Ledger Clerk duties include:

  • Process and input multi-currency supplier invoices, ensuring meticulous accuracy in coding, exchange rate application, and VAT compliance
  • Assist in the preparation of regular BACS/TT payment runs
  • Perform reconciliation of supplier statements
  • Conduct weekly stock reconciliation and resolve discrepancies
  • Complete credit card and expense coding, including the proactive chasing of outstanding submissions to ensure month-end deadlines are met
  • Take responsibility for the maintenance and updating of daily sales figures, providing management with accurate visibility into business performance
  • Provide essential cover and support for the Credit Control function

The ideal candidate will:

  • Have solid proven purchase ledger experience
  • Be IT literate including excel and accounting systems
  • Possess excellent communication skills
  • Have accurate and strong attention to detail
