Chase & Holland are working exclusively on behalf of a large and well-known business based in Lincoln, who is currently going through an exciting period of change. Our client is looking for a CIMA/ACCA or ACA later stages Part Qualified / Qualified Accountant to take on this senior business partnering role as Senior Finance Manager for a minimum 18-month contract.

You will report to the Head of Business Partnering and work with Directors and Heads of Departments in achieving their strategic objectives. Developing short and long term financial plans, performance monitoring, financial appraisal and the provision of appropriate, accurate and timely management information.

Senior Finance Manager (Business Partnering) duties also include:

  • To research, analyse and evaluate opportunities to develop and implement more efficient finance systems, with a specific focus on management accounting aimed at simplifying and improving processes and making recommendations.
  • Support in the preparation of monthly management accounts. Work with Business Partners to challenge assumptions particularly around forecasting.
  • Support the year-end process for the Business Partnering team.
  • Preparation of annual budgets and five-year plans, ensuring in line with strategic objectives.
  • Preparation of all business cases for income generating and commercial purposes.
  • Mentoring and supporting the Business Partnering team.
  • To deputise for the Head of Business Partnering.

The ideal candidate will be:

  • ACCA, CIMA or ACA Finalist or Qualified accountant with exceptional management accounting, financial analysis and reporting experience.
  • Strong business partnering skills.
  • You will possess strong financial modelling skills.
  • IT literate especially on excel.
  • You will be able to motivate and lead by example and always strive to provide exceptional customer service through your finance business partnering at all times.
