Chase Holland are excited to be recruiting on behalf of a successful and well-established engineering business seeking a hands-on Financial Controller / Finance Manager to take ownership of the finance function and work closely with the Director to support the continued growth of the business.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys the variety of working within an SME, where you'll have the autonomy to lead the finance function while helping to improve processes, strengthen financial controls and provide valuable commercial insight.
The Role
- Producing monthly management accounts and financial analysis
- Cashflow forecasting and financial reporting
- VAT, statutory and regulatory compliance
- Year-end preparation and liaison with external accountants
- Payroll and associated reporting
- Maintaining and improving financial controls and finance processes
- Supporting business planning and decision-making through meaningful financial insight
- Providing day-to-day HR support, working alongside an external HR adviser where required
