Part Time Management Accountant – Goole – up to £32,000 FTE

Chase & Holland are excited to be working with a market leading manufacturer in Goole who due to growth are looking for a proactive and detail orientated Management Accountant to bolster their finance team. Management Accountant responsibilities include:

  • Prepare monthly management accounts, including profit and loss, balance sheet, and cash flow statements
  • Provide detailed analysis on company performance, identifying trends, and giving actionable insights to the leadership team
  • Budgeting and forecasting to support strategic planning
  • Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance
  • Assist in the preparation of year-end statutory accounts and liaise with external auditors
  • Manage cash flow and ensuring the financial health of the business
  • Collaborate with operational teams to provide financial insights and drive cost efficiencies
  • Identify and implement process improvements in financial reporting
  • Ensuring compliance with financial regulations and tax laws
  • Support the Managing Director with ad-hoc projects and financial analysis

The right candidate?

  • Previous experience working in a similar varied management accounts role essential
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to build relationships
  • Must be IT literate including Excel and Sage 200
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial data entry and analysis
  • Problem-solving skills and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
