Chase & Holland are proud to be working with a fast-paced technology business to recruit an enthusiastic PQ Accountant for an exciting Financial Accountant role in their friendly team. Reporting directly to the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for providing a day-to-day service to the regional business which incorporates the Ledgers, Banking, Cash Management, Nominal Recs through to preparation of the Management Accounts Pack for your region. Financial Accountant Responsibilities:

  • Responsibility for the nominal ledger entries and reconciliation of all control accounts
  • Responsibility for all entries and reconciliation of all bank accounts, including initiating payments for approval
  • Work with the project managers and ops team to ensure the sales invoices are produced in a timely manner and to track and trace any late payments to ensure cash management
  • Production of weekly cashflows and cashflow forecasting
  • Expenses and credit cards reconciliations
  • Fixed asset management, including disposals
  • Journals, accruals and prepayments
  • Intercompany recharges and reconciliations
  • Preparation of the management accounts pack for Finance Manager review for your Region
  • Assist with annual budgeting process
  • Ad-hoc financial accounting requirements, including annual returns

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Similar varied accounting role including in a similar high-volume position
  • Assisting in month end accounts and seeking a next step
  • AAT Qualified or PQ CIMA/ACCA
  • IT literate including excel and accounting packages
  • Ability to work well as a team within a group environment
