Project Manager - Derby (with national travel) - £55,000 + benefits
We are thrilled to be working exclusively with a growing organisation to recruit a Project Manager to support the delivery of projects across the UK. This is a key position responsible for ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. You will take ownership of the full project lifecycle, collaborating closely with internal teams and stakeholders to drive successful outcomes. This role is primarily office-based in Derby, with an expectation to spend up to two days per week on customer sites depending on project requirements. Flexibility for travel is required.

Responsibilities:
- Define project scope and produce detailed delivery plans
- Oversee project schedules, milestones, and ongoing progress tracking
- Manage stakeholder relationships and ensure clear, consistent reporting
- Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams including Engineering, Operations, and site-based personnel
- Plan, allocate, and control resources, logistics, and timelines
- Identify, evaluate, and manage risks, issues, and changes to scope
- Manage technical queries and maintain accuracy of all project documentation
- Track performance against budget and agreed delivery targets
- Maintain governance frameworks, reporting processes, and project controls
- Coordinate site access, permits, and safety documentation, including RAMS and WPP
About You:
- Proven experience in a Project Manager role within a fast-paced Engineering environment
- Strong organisational, planning, and problem-solving skills
- Experience managing multiple stakeholders and priorities
- Clear and confident communicator with the ability to influence
- Proactive, resilient, and delivery-focused
- Experience working with technical or engineering documentation
Desirable:
- Project management qualification (PRINCE2, APM PMQ/PPQ or similar)
