Chase & Holland are excited to be working with a long standing and trusted organisation who are currently looking to recruit an Assistant Management Accountant to join their friendly team. This is a service led organisation who strives to put the customer at the centre of everything they do. You will be responsible for providing specialist knowledge to control and reconcile key areas of the balance sheet, including Fixed Assets, VAT and cost accruals.

Responsibilities of the Assistant Management Accountant:
- Month end reconciliation and reporting
- Processing additions, disposals, movement of assets between sites and depreciation charges
- Quarterly ONS submission
- Annual asset physical verification at all locations in the region
- Annual reporting for year end and for auditors
- Regularly monitor transactions to ensure VAT is being correctly processed
- Monthly reconciliation of VAT control accounts
- Reconciliation and completion of quarterly VAT return to head office
- Regular transaction review of debtor balances and payments received
- Process monthly admin fees and direct debit charges
- Produce summary of fund movements monthly and for the full year
Required Skills & Experience:
- Experience in a similar varied Assistant Accountant role
- Excellent attention to detail
- Excellent Excel skills
- Must be an effective communicator
- Must be highly organised and able to prioritise
