To support the efficient and accurate receipt, storage, preparation and despatch of products, ensuring customer and production requirements are met within agreed timescales.

The role requires a high level of accuracy, organisation and attention to detail, together with a strong commitment to health and safety, quality and customer service.

The post holder will work as part of the wider Operations team to ensure goods and materials are handled, stored, prepared and despatched safely and efficiently.

Requirements

  • Pick and prepare materials, components and finished products in accordance with production and customer requirements.
  • Administer and prepare completed orders for despatch and ensure all relevant paperwork and labels are accurate.
  • Pack products safely and securely, using the appropriate packaging materials and methods.
  • Ensure stock is correctly labelled, stored and maintained in the designated warehouse locations.
  • Load and unload deliveries safely and efficiently.
  • Liaise with internal teams to ensure materials and products are available when required.
  • Maintain accurate stock records and assist with regular stock checks and stocktaking activities.
  • Identify discrepancies in stock, deliveries or documentation and report these promptly to the appropriate member of the management team.
  • Ensure products and materials are handled carefully to prevent damage, contamination or loss.
  • Receive, check and accurately record incoming goods and materials.
  • Prioritise workload effectively to meet production, customer and despatch deadlines.
  • Identify potential problems at the earliest opportunity and escalate issues where appropriate.
