We're looking for a Hospitality Supervisor who will be the face of our business, delivering exceptional customer service.

You will be the face of Chartwells, Northumbria University offering excellent service to our students, university staff and customers.

You'll join a team that takes a real pride in what they do - pride in our food, pride in our brand but most of all pride in our people.

This role is contracted to 40 hours per week, working 5 days over 7.

Due to the nature of the role, there is no set shift pattern, therefore, hours and schedule pattern will vary dependent on the business.

As a Hospitality Supervisor, you will contribute to a passionate and friendly team working in a fast-paced environment.

  • Your Key Responsibilities Will Include
  • Serve all food and beverage to the highest standard in line with SOPS.
  • Ensure all food and beverage is delivered on time as per client requests.
  • To ensure service counters are fully equipped and clean.
  • To clear all areas of equipment and hospitality items at the end of the day.
  • Ensure correct labelling of products, food hygiene and allergen processes are adhered to.
  • Work closely with the Kitchen team to ensure the smooth running of each event.
  • To drive the work van between City Campus and Coach Lane.
  • Handle customer feedback and resolve any minor complaints with professionalism and care, escalating to the Hospitality Supervisor and Manager if needed.
  • To report health and safety issues to your line manager, including all accidents and near misses.

  • Be prepared to assist colleagues in a willing and positive manner, including assisting with other duties in other units as required.

Essential Criteria

  • Clean Full UK driving licence.
  • Must be over 18 years old due to company insurance.

Desirable Criteria

  • Previous experience in a catering/ hospitality environment.
