What you’ll do:
- Retail Sales Assistant
- Assist the Megastore team with delivery of exceptional customer service and all tasks required for day‑to‑day operational running of the Store.
- Welcome customers into the Store and be on hand to help whilst they browse.
- Advise on our product range – assist customers with enquiries, provide product information and offer assistance.
- Support with stock replenishment.
- Help to make the Store look its absolute best, from general housekeeping and cleaning to updating displays and ensuring that all products are well presented.
- Process sales – operate the till, process transactions accurately, and handle payments.
- Understand and promote offers and other promotional activities.
- Support the team to work towards sales targets.
- Warehouse Assistant
- Assist the distribution centre team with the efficient receipt, storage and despatch of goods.
- Check in incoming stock deliveries and put them away in the appropriate pick or storage location.
- Pick and pack customer orders placed through our e‑commerce sites, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
- Use our warehouse management system to track inventory and manage orders.
- Ensure a high standard of housekeeping within the distribution centre, paying particular attention to health and safety compliance.
Qualifications & Traits
- Have previous experience working in a retail sales assistant or warehouse operative role.
- Be passionate about retail and delivering great customer service.
- Be friendly, approachable and proactive.
- Have excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with customers and colleagues.
- Have good attention to detail.
- Be able to work well as part of a team or independently.
- Be able to prioritise and multitask well in a fast‑paced environment.
- Maintain a positive approach to change and problem solving.
- Be IT literate and able to use stock management and computer systems.
- Be flexible to work weekends, evenings, and bank holidays as required.
