We're looking for caring, reliable and customer-focused individuals to join our team as

Ward Hosts and help deliver an exceptional dining experience to patients across the hospital.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys helping others and wants to make a real difference every day.

Full training is provided, but we're looking for people who can commit to working

3–4 shifts per week on an ongoing basis .

What you'll be doing

As a Ward Host, you'll play a vital role in ensuring patients receive an excellent meal service while providing compassionate customer care throughout the day.

Your responsibilities will include

  • Delivering menus to patients and taking meal orders.
  • Supporting patients with dietary requirements and allergen queries.
  • Preparing and serving breakfast, lunch and dinner refreshments and meals.
  • Clearing ward dining areas and washing dishes to ensure kitchens are ready for the next service.
  • Liaising with nursing and ward teams to ensure patients' needs are met promptly.
  • Providing a friendly, professional service while always putting the patient first.
  • Maintaining high standards of food hygiene, cleanliness and infection control.

With shifts 7 days of the week, we are looking for staff who can commit to working regularly and becoming part of the core team!

We're looking for people who

  • Are

18 years of age or over .

  • Can commit to working

3–4 shifts per week on a regular, ongoing basis .

  • Are passionate about delivering outstanding customer service.
  • Have excellent communication skills and enjoy helping others.
  • Can work well both independently and as part of a team.
  • Remain calm and professional in a busy hospital environment.
  • Are comfortable working around patients who may be seriously unwell or experiencing distress.
  • Ideally have previous experience working within a hospital or healthcare environment (although this is not essential).

No previous Ward Host experience is required—we'll provide full training.
