Constellation are currently recruiting dedicated, professional, and caring Ward Hosts to join our hospital catering and patient services team. About the Role
As a Ward Host, you will play a vital role in supporting patient wellbeing by delivering high-quality food and beverage services across hospital wards. You will ensure patients receive meals safely, efficiently, and with excellent customer care while maintaining the highest standards of hygiene and cleanliness. This role is ideal for someone who is organised, approachable, reliable, and passionate about providing excellent service within a healthcare setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver meals, drinks, and refreshments to patients in a professional and friendly manner
- Prepare and serve food and beverages in accordance with hospital procedures
- Ensure patient meal choices and dietary requirements are accurately followed
- Maintain high standards of food hygiene, cleanliness, and infection control
- Clear trays and maintain ward kitchen areas to a high standard
- Monitor stock levels and replenish supplies as required
- Communicate effectively with nursing staff and catering teams
- Support patient comfort by providing attentive and compassionate service
- Ensure all health & safety regulations and food safety guidelines are adhered to at all times
- Work efficiently both independently and as part of a wider team
