We are currently recruiting for a Stock Controller to join a large‑scale hospitality and catering operation in Canary Wharf. This is a key role within the business, responsible for ensuring accurate stock management, cost allocation, and financial control across multiple outlets and service areas. Working closely with operational teams, suppliers, logistics, and finance, you will play an essential part in maintaining stock accuracy, supporting reporting processes, and ensuring goods are correctly allocated within the business systems. The role will suit someone who thrives in a fast‑paced environment and enjoys taking ownership of processes and controls. Key Responsibilities
- Oversee stock deliveries and ensure goods are correctly received and allocated
- Manage stock movements, transfers, adjustments, and variance reporting
- Ensure accurate cost allocation within stock and finance systems
- Investigate and resolve delivery, allocation, and stock discrepancies
- Support stock counts, reconciliations, and period‑end reporting
- Maintain accurate stock records and compliance documentation
- Work closely with operational managers to improve stock processes and accountability
- Monitor wastage, misallocations, and cost control issues
- Support audit requirements and internal financial controls
- Assist with the setup and improvement of stock control procedures and workflows
About You
- Previous experience in stock control, inventory management, or operational finance
- Experience within hospitality, catering, retail, or multi‑site operations preferred
