About the Role
We are looking for a friendly and reliable Hospitality Assistant to join our hospitality team working at Rugby School, supporting the day-to-day operation of our catering services, events, and functions. Working alongside the Hospitality Manager and wider team, you will help deliver food and beverage services to agreed standards, ensuring a smooth, efficient, and welcoming experience for pupils, staff, and visitors.
You will assist with service delivery, beverage preparation, setting up and clearing hospitality equipment, stock handling, and general catering duties while maintaining high standards of hygiene, cleanliness, and presentation across all service areas. You will also be required to transport hospitality equipment and supplies using the company van. This is a hands-on role, offering the opportunity to contribute to events, conferences, private functions, and themed activities.
You will provide polite, professional, and friendly customer service, respond positively to requests, and communicate any feedback, shortages, or issues promptly to your line manager. You will work collaboratively with colleagues to support efficient service delivery, follow health, safety, and cash handling procedures where required, and operate equipment safely and responsibly. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced hospitality environment, takes pride in delivering excellent customer experiences, and values being part of a supportive team.
