We’re looking for passionate, reliable and experienced Chefs at all levels to join our teams across a range of business and workplace catering locations across Reading and Bracknell.
Whether you’re a Chef de Partie, Sous Chef or Head Chef, we have opportunities available for chefs looking for regular weekday daytime work and a great work-life balance.
Locations
- KPMG – Reading, RG1 3AD – Onsite restaurant, dining and hospitality facilities
- TD SYNNEX – Bracknell, RG12 8FZ – Onsite restaurant and café facilities
- Virgin Media – Reading, RG2 6UU – Staff restaurant and dedicated barista coffee shop
- Fujitsu – Bracknell, RG12 8SN – Onsite canteen, restaurant and café facilities
You’ll be part of a professional workplace catering team, preparing and serving high-quality food while maintaining excellent standards of food safety, cleanliness and customer service.
Shifts are Monday to Friday, 7am-3pm
What You'll Be Doing
- Preparing and cooking high-quality food to the required standards
- Supporting the smooth running of the kitchen
- Following menus, recipes and portion control guidelines
- Completing food preparation and cooking across relevant kitchen sections
- Maintaining excellent food presentation and quality
- Supporting stock control, deliveries and storage
- Maintaining high standards of kitchen cleanliness and organisation
- Following Food Safety, Health & Safety, COSHH and allergen procedures
- Working collaboratively with the wider catering team
- Providing a professional and positive service to workplace customers
What We're Looking For
- Previous professional kitchen experience
- Opportunities available for Chef de Parties, Sous Chefs and Head Chefs
- A passion for food and high standards of quality
- Ability to work efficiently in a busy kitchen environment
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Reliable, organised and professional approach
- Strong understanding of food safety and allergen procedures
- Must have your own black safety shoes
- Level 3 Food Hygiene desirable for Sous Chef and Head Chef positions
