As a Production Operative, you'll play a key role in preparing and assembling plated meals while ensuring the highest standards of quality, food safety, and hygiene. Working in a fast-paced production environment, you'll accurately weigh ingredients, follow recipes, and help achieve daily production targets.
Working Hours
40 hours per week, Monday – Friday: 07:00 – 15:30. Flexibility and occasional overtime required to meet operational demands.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and assemble plated meals in line with production plans and recipes.
- Accurately weigh ingredients while maintaining GMP, quality, and food safety standards.
- Support the achievement of daily production targets.
- Complete production and quality documentation accurately and on time.
- Maintain high standards of hygiene by completing cleaning schedules and using the correct chemicals.
- Follow all Health & Safety, Food Safety, COSHH, and PPE requirements.
- Minimise waste and dispose of it correctly in line with company procedures.
- Report quality or production issues promptly to the Production Manager or QA Team.
- Work flexibly across the production operation and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
