About the Role

You will play a key role in supporting the production operations by ensuring materials and ingredients are supplied accurately and on time to the production line. The role is responsible for maintaining the highest standards of quality, food safety, and hygiene, while supporting production efficiency and achieving daily operational targets in a fast-paced production environment. One important target you will contribute to is wastage, minimising it as much as possible.

Working Hours

40 hours per week Monday – Friday: 07:00 – 15:30 Flexibility and occasional overtime required to meet operational demands

Key Responsibilities

  • Follow the production plan and recipes to ensure a continuous, accurate supply of raw materials and ingredients to the production lines for the scheduled meals to be prepared.
  • Accurately weigh, handle, and supply those ingredients in compliance with GMP, quality, and food safety standards.
  • Support the achievement of daily production and packing targets, getting the right meals into the right deliveries on time – efficiency is key.
  • Identify, report, and record wastage or stock loss in line with company targets, minimising waste is key. This includes checking machine settings are correct and that standard operating procedures are being applied.
  • Complete and sign-off cleaning schedules, making sure all utensils, machinery, and work areas always meet hygiene standards using the correct chemicals.
  • Wear appropriate PPE at all times and follow all Health & Safety and COSHH policies to create a safe working environment for everyone.
  • Report and communicate any quality or production issues promptly to the Production Manager or QA team.
  • Be flexible and adaptable to work collaboratively, supporting all areas across the site.
  • Contribute your ideas to make continuous improvement of processes.
