Join Constellation for the 2026/27 Racing Season! Are you an experienced hospitality supervisor with a passion for delivering exceptional service? Constellation is recruiting Restaurant Supervisors to join our team at Cheltenham Racecourse for the upcoming 2026/27 racing season. You will work across our premium à la carte restaurants and hospitality suites, helping to deliver an outstanding experience to guests at some of the UK's most prestigious racing events. We are looking for professional, enthusiastic and experienced supervisors who can commit to the majority of the racing season – preferably all race meetings.

2026/27 RACING SEASON Event Dates

  • The Showcase 2026: Friday 23 & Saturday 24 October 2026
  • The November Meeting 2026: Friday 13 – Sunday 15 November 2026
  • The Christmas Meeting 2026: Friday 11 & Saturday 12 December 2026
  • New Year's Day 2027: Friday 1 January 2027
  • Festival Trials Day 2027: Saturday 30 January 2027
  • The Festival 2027: Monday 15 March – Friday 19 March 2027
  • The April Meeting 2027: Wednesday 14 & Thursday 15 April 2027
  • Race Night 2027: Friday 30 April 2027

YOUR ROLE

As a Restaurant Supervisor, you will be responsible for supporting the smooth running of your restaurant or hospitality area while leading and motivating your team. Key responsibilities include:

  • Delivering exceptional service and maintaining premium hospitality standards
  • Leading, supporting and motivating the waiting team
  • Overseeing restaurant service and ensuring smooth operations
  • Maintaining clear communication with staff and management
  • Handling guest queries and resolving issues professionally
  • Supporting staff briefings, allocations and daily operations
  • Handling cash and processing refunds accurately where required
  • Ensuring Health & Safety, food hygiene and company procedures are followed
  • Supporting the team during busy and high-volume service periods

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Previous supervisory or managerial experience within hospitality is essential
  • Experience leading and motivating a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Professional, confident and approachable manner
  • Ability to remain calm and organised under pressure
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Reliable, flexible and punctual
  • A genuine passion for delivering outstanding customer service
  • Availability for the majority of the 2026/27 racing season, preferably all meetings
