Role Overview
As part of our bar team, you’ll play a key role in delivering exceptional service to guests across a range of venues at Cheltenham Racecourse. You’ll have the chance to work in:
- Hospitality
- Bar
Service: Upscale bars in restaurants, boxes, and private suites, where you’ll serve premium drinks, wines, mix basic cocktails, and offer a high level of guest interaction.
- Public Bars: Bustling bars open to all racegoers, where you’ll be pouring pints, serving wine and spirits, handling payments, and keeping up with a fast-paced service style.
Your key responsibilities will include
- Accurately pouring and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks
- Providing friendly, efficient, and professional customer service
- Maintaining a clean and organised bar area
- Handling payments and operating tills (where required)
- Restocking fridges and supplies during and after service
- Working as part of a larger team to ensure smooth service flow
- Upholding licensing laws, Challenge 25 policy, and health & safety standards
What We’re Looking For
- Confidence and energy in a busy service environment
- A positive, team-focused attitude
- Strong communication skills
- Previous bar experience is ideal but not essential- training provided
• Ability to work under pressure with a smile!
- Must be 18+ to serve alcohol
