- Café Supervisor to lead our busy café at
HMRC Portsmouth .
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with previous supervisory experience and strong barista skills who enjoys delivering excellent customer service in a professional daytime environment.
This is an ongoing assignment working 5 days a week until likely October. There is a possibility of assignment extension post this date.
You must be able to work Monday-Friday to be considered for this role.
- What You'll Be Doing
- Leading and motivating the café team to deliver exceptional customer service.
- Preparing high-quality coffee using bean-to-cup coffee machines .
- Supervising the day-to-day operation of the café, ensuring smooth service.
- Supporting staff with training, coaching and maintaining high standards.
- Managing stock levels, food safety and cleanliness.
- Working closely with management to ensure an efficient and welcoming operation.
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience supervising or managing a café or hospitality team.
- Confident barista experience, including operating bean-to-cup coffee machines .
- A hands‑on leader who enjoys supporting and developing others.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- A positive attitude with a passion for great food, coffee and customer service.
- Able to commit to full-time hours, Monday to Friday .
- Willing to undergo an
- Enhanced DBS check and
BPSS (Baseline Personnel Security Standard) screening . These are required for working on this site, and we will arrange and cover the cost .
