The predicted salary is between 30000 - 40000 £ per year.
Working closely with site managers, operational leaders, and support teams, the successful candidate will help drive consistency, compliance, employee engagement, and systems excellence across the site. Reporting into the Assistant Finance Manager, this role also supports Profit Protection audits and provides follow-up support to operational units after central audit reviews. The position plays a key role in ensuring HR processes, systems, and compliance standards are effectively delivered across multiple catering locations.
What you’ll be doing:
- Supporting the full employee lifecycle, including onboarding, offboarding, transfers, and contract changes
- Providing first-line HR operational support to managers and employees across multiple sites
- Ensuring HR processes are delivered accurately, efficiently, and in line with company policies and procedures
- Supporting Profit Protection audits and helping ensure completion of associated action plans
- Ensuring compliance with UK employment law, GDPR, and internal policies and procedures
- Managing Right to Work compliance via Sterling, including documentation checks, renewals, and tracking expiry dates
- Monitoring mandatory training completion and supporting audit readiness across sites
- Supporting internal and external audits and resolving compliance or system issues where required
- Acting as a key support for HR systems (OurTime and HR Portal), ensuring data accuracy and system integrity
What you need to succeed:
- Previous experience in People Operations, HR Administration, HR Compliance, or a similar role
- Experience in hospitality, catering, retail, or multi-site operational environments (desirable)
- Strong understanding of UK employment law and HR best practice
- Experience supporting HR systems such as OurTime or similar HR platforms
- Strong organisational skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
- Confident communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HR reporting systems
- Experience supporting audits, compliance processes, or operational governance (advantageous)
